About the Role

We are recruiting for a high-end property firm based in North West London who are looking for a warm, polished and genuinely people-focused Receptionist to become an important part of their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to be a receptionist and enjoys being at the heart of an office. You will be the first person clients, visitors and colleagues see, so personality, professionalism and a natural passion for helping people are essential.

Working within a prestigious property environment, you will ensure every person who walks through the door receives a warm, professional and first-class welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front of House

• Be the welcoming face of the business, greeting clients, visitors and colleagues with warmth and professionalism.
• Create a fantastic first impression and ensure every visitor receives an exceptional experience.
• Manage the reception area and ensure it remains immaculate, organised and beautifully presented throughout the day.
• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries to the appropriate person.
• Manage visitor arrivals, appointments and meeting room bookings.
• Receive and coordinate post, deliveries and couriers.
• Prepare meeting rooms ahead of client meetings and ensure they are always presented to a high standard.
• Support with refreshments and ensure guests are looked after throughout their visit.

Client Experience

• Build genuine relationships with clients, visitors and colleagues.
• Become a trusted point of contact for day-to-day queries and requests.
• Anticipate people's needs and look for opportunities to go the extra mile.
• Handle requests calmly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Help create the warm, welcoming and premium experience expected from a high-end property business.

About You

Above everything else, we are looking for someone who loves helping people.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within reception, front of house, hospitality, luxury retail, property or customer service.
• A genuine desire to build your career as a Receptionist.
• A natural passion for looking after people and delivering outstanding service.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A polished and professional approach.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• A proactive attitude. You notice what needs doing and take ownership.
• The ability to remain calm, organised and welcoming when the office is busy.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Teams.
• A team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

You should be someone who gets genuine satisfaction from making another person's day easier. Whether that's remembering how a regular client takes their coffee, helping a visitor who is unsure where to go, preparing perfectly for an important meeting or simply greeting someone with a smile, you understand that the small details make a big difference.
