Our client in the retail industry, is seeking a motivated Temporary Entry Level Customer Service Advisor to enhance their customer support team. This temporary position is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable office experience while providing exceptional service to customers.

With the role until the end of 2026, this role is particularly well-suited for recent graduates who have experience in face-to-face customer service and are looking to expand their skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality customer support across various channels, primarily through telephone interactions, as well as email, tickets and live chat.
• Handle both inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism, calmness and a helpful demeanour.
• Manage customer service tickets and live chat conversations effectively.
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, adhering to agreed service levels.
• Process refunds for damaged or faulty items, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Assist customers across multiple UK marketplace channels, including Amazon and B&Q.
• Maintain efficient handling times while ensuring a high standard of written and verbal communication.
• Work towards productivity targets, aiming to process approximately 18 tickets per hour where applicable.
• Provide a consistent, customer-first experience across all contact channels, establishing a reliable source of information for customers.

Requirements:

• Previous face-to-face customer service experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
• Availability to commit to the temporary role until the end of 2026.
