Purchase Ledger Clerk (Fixed Term) Key Responsibilities: Manage supplier queries and ensure accurate coding and posting of purchase invoices and expenses. Handle the posting of cash receipts and payments across both sales and purchase ledgers. Schedule and propose payment run and ensure reconciliation of supplier statements and inter-company accounts. Perform month-end procedures, ensuring all ledgers are cleared of unpaid invoices and payment allocations. Set up new suppliers in the system following the proper procedures. Assist in the coaching and mentoring of staff and maintain the Accounts Payable training library. Monitor and process transactions related to credit cards, direct debits, standing orders, and special payment requests.
