Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Full Time 5 Days Per Week Temp to Perm Opportunity £100 to £130 per day depending upon experience!

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded specialist school supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, severe and profound learning difficulties, and complex needs.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract after a successful 12-week temporary period.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils within the classroom and during specialist learning activities.
- Encourage independence, communication and social development.
- Assist with individual learning programmes and behaviour support strategies.
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and families to support pupil progress.

- A caring, patient and resilient individual.
- Experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners with special educational needs.
- The ability to build positive relationships and celebrate every achievement.
