Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Maternity Cover until the end of the academic year
Location: Near Boston, Lincolnshire

We are recruiting for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist independent school supporting young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including SEMH, Autism, ADHD and communication needs. The school provides a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach, helping pupils who may have struggled in mainstream education to re-engage with learning and achieve success.

Set within a peaceful rural environment near Boston, the school benefits from small class sizes, high staff-to-pupil ratios, purpose-built learning spaces and a bespoke curriculum designed around individual needs.

The Role

You will:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and wider professionals.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to annual reviews and reports.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Experience working with SEND, SEMH or vulnerable learners.
  • A flexible, resilient and child-centred approach.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for helping young people reach their potential.
