Ad Hoc Workplace Assistant
Hourly Rate: 14.94 per hour
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, ad hoc shifts

Search are currently working with a fantastic client based in the Birmingham area who are looking for an individual to join their team as a Workplace Assistant on a temporary ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a corporate environment and be confident supporting workplace, facilities and front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact, providing a professional welcome to visitors and colleagues.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers.
Set up and maintain meeting rooms, including AV equipment and refreshments.
Support the coordination of meetings, events and catering requirements.
Monitor workplace standards, ensuring communal areas remain tidy, stocked and presentable.
Assist with workplace communications, office initiatives and colleague engagement activities.
Manage workplace requests, office supplies and general administrative tasks.
Provide proactive support to ensure the office operates efficiently and delivers an excellent workplace experience.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Workplace Assistant, Facilities Assistant, Front of House or similar role
Previous experience working within a corporate environment
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
