Opportunity for an Employment Managing Associate to join a leading international law firm with a highly regarded, Tier 1 Employment practice.

Our client is a leading international Top 30 law firm with an outstanding reputation for advising clients on complex, high-profile and cross-border matters.

The successful Employment Managing Associate will be joining firm that is consistently recognised in the legal directories, with its Employment practice ranked Tier 1 in the Legal 500 for Employers.

The opportunity

The Employment team is widely recognised for its expertise in handling complex and high-stakes employment matters, acting for both employers and senior executives across a broad range of sectors, with particular strength across financial services, fashion and retail, luxury and media.

The firm is looking to recruit an Employment Managing Associate to join the team as part of its continued growth.

Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, the new hire will advise on a broad range of employment matters across both advisory and disputes work.

This will include:

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
• Advising employers and senior executives on complex employment issues
• Managing day-to-day HR advisory matters, including redundancies, settlement agreements and workplace issues
• Advising on discrimination, unfair dismissal, restrictive covenants and contractual disputes
• Supporting clients with employment disputes and litigation in the Employment Tribunal and High Court
• Advising on TUPE and the employment aspects of corporate transactions
• Advising on data theft, confidential information and other complex employment issues

Required

• UK qualified Employment Managing Associate with 5 - 8 PQE
• Strong employment law experience gained within a well-ranked Employment practice
• Strong respondent-side experience, or a combination of respondent and senior executive work
• Experience handling both contentious and advisory employment matters
• Experience advising clients across a variety of sectors
