Location: Wokingham

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering a professional and solutions-focused HR service. Your core responsibilities will include:

HR Advisory & Employee Relations:

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
• Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance issues.
• Coach managers to enhance their confidence and capabilities in people management.

HR Operations & Lifecycle Support:

• Support key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, performance management, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and oversee HR administration to ensure compliance with company standards.

Collaboration & Business Support:

• Partner with operational managers to deliver practical, business-focused HR solutions.
• Build strong relationships with head office and field-based teams while providing support to junior HR team members.

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to HR projects including policy reviews and engagement initiatives, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Specialist, or in a generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practises.
• Experience managing employee relations cases with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
