Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Mail Operative to join their dynamic mailroom team in Highfields, Leicester. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient running of a high-profile client's mailroom service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while representing our client on-site.
• Efficiently receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Handle client enquiries in a friendly manner, both face-to-face and via telephone.
• Maintain an organised filing system by filing and retrieving documents as needed.
• Manage the booking and receipt of courier items.
• Process archive files and track signature movements using onsite computer systems.
• Flexibly respond to any additional duties as required by the Operations Manager or client.

Candidate Specifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A professional demeanour when engaging with clients, ensuring excellent service.
• Experience in processing archive files and familiarity with computer tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while remaining calm.
• Basic IT proficiency, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Email, and Web applications.
• Availability to work shifts Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm.

Dress Code:
Professional attire is required: Black trousers and a white shirt.
