About Us
Our Future is a growing organisation working to put communities in control of their town's future. We support local people to shape a shared vision, drive change from the ground up, and unlock long-term funding while influencing national policy to better support community-led change.
Having started in Grimsby and expanded to Rochdale, we're now building a national movement.
In Grimsby, we're currently delivering the Growing Together Fund, a new, permanent and independent community fund designed to back local ambition, support practical ideas, and attract long-term investment into the town. This work forms part of a wider ambition to ensure local people have a stronger voice in shaping Grimsby's future.

Working closely with the Place Lead, you'll help turn plans into action by building relationships, organising events, supporting communications and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of local activity.
This is a hands-on, community-facing position for someone who is passionate about Grimsby and excited by the opportunity to contribute to lasting local change. You'll be a visible and trusted presence across the town, helping to connect people, build momentum and strengthen participation in Our Future's work.
