The Role
As an Administrator, you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth running of insurance and claims handling processes. You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, managing communications, and supporting stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Accurately input and maintain records of insurance incidents and claims in line with SLAs
- Support the administration of incidents, including customer service cases and First Notification of Loss (FNOL) processes
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications professionally, including high-volume mailbox activity
- Liaise with Arriva UK Bus and Train teams to support investigations and claims progression
- Review and record company damage invoices accurately
- Maintain organised and structured document storage systems
- Provide support across wider administrative functions as required
- Ensure all data, including CCTV and personal information, is handled securely and in line with UK data protection legislation
- Contribute to team KPIs and service delivery objectives
- Attend stakeholder meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) and administration systems
- Has experience in administration, claims support, insurance, or customer service environments
- Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Has experience handling high volumes of queries and communications
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Understands data protection requirements and confidentiality
- Is proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
