Working closely with site leadership teams, you'll play a key role in delivering a proactive and commercially focused HR service, supporting both day-to-day operational activity and longer-term people initiatives.
The successful candidate will be an approachable and confident HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong stakeholder relationships and making a positive impact across the business.
About the Role
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across a broad range of people matters
- Support employee relations activity including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability cases
- Work closely with managers to drive employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives
- Assist with organisational development, succession planning and talent management activities
- Support change management projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Analyse HR data and trends to identify opportunities and support decision-making
- Contribute to recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Promote a positive workplace culture and support diversity, inclusion and employee experience initiatives
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
About You
- Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role within a manufacturing, FMCG or operational environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident managing a wide range of employee relations matters independently
- Able to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Experience supporting business change, growth or organisational development initiatives
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification
- Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused with a hands-on approach
