Opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established law firm with a respected Private Client practice.

The firm

Our client is a respected law firm, recognised by both Chambers' High Net Worth Guide and the Legal 500 for its Private Client expertise.

The department advises on a broad range of Private Client matters, including capital tax planning, Wills, estate administration, trusts, Court of Protection work and powers of attorney.

The firm places a strong emphasis on building long-term client relationships, delivering a responsive and personal service, and maintaining technical excellence.

The opportunity

The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its established team, with a particular focus on expanding its presence in London. This is a pivotal, senior hire, and the firm is keen to hear from Senior Associates, seeking junior Partnership (now, or in the future).

Working closely with the Head of Department and wider team, the new hire will handle a high-quality caseload with a particular emphasis on high net worth individuals, business owners, and clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional estates.

Duties will include:

  • Advising on Wills, estate planning and succession matters for high net worth individuals
  • Providing tax planning advice and handling complex probate matters
  • Advising on trusts, including creation and administration
  • Handling lasting powers of attorney and elderly client matters
  • Playing a key role in business development, networking and growth of the department

Required

  • UK qualified Solicitor with 8+ years' PQE
  • Strong experience across Private Client matters including Wills, tax planning, probate, trusts and LPAs
  • Particular expertise in high value estate planning and advising high net worth clients
  • Established client following and/or strong referral network in London and surrounding areas
