The Team

The HR Partner provides expert HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle, including payroll coordination, data accuracy, and employee relations. Operating with minimal supervision, the role applies best practices and business insights to improve processes and service delivery. It serves as a key contact for HR matters, ensuring compliance with global standards and local legislation. The HR Partner contributes to global People initiatives and manages consultations with Works Councils and other representative bodies. This position often leads project components, resolves complex issues, and supports less experienced colleagues

Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as the local HR representative on the Country Council for the specific Country. The Country Councils aim to establish a strategic, solution-focused collaboration model across Commercial, Medical, Finance, and HR functions at the country level.

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR queries via multiple channels, resolving complex issues with minimal guidance.

  • Operational HR support - Provide standardised, consistent, accurate, HR Services support through effective global and local policies and processes and in line with Global HR Service Catalogue and corresponding SLAs.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire employee journey for a specific country or employee group, including onboarding, offboarding and internal mobility, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • HRIS Expertise & Data Integrity: Expertly use the HR Information System (HRIS) to deliver services, manage data records, and provide accurate reports.

  • Support delivery of talent solutions, including talent reviews, performance leadership, development, succession planning, employee engagement, assist the Recruitment Team with hiring processes, offer administration, contribute to global learning programs, compensation cycles, payroll, and benefits administration in alignment with HRBPs and HR CoEs

  • Legal & Compliance: Ensure all HR practices strictly comply with local employment law and company standards, and lead employee relations issues/cases.

  • Stakeholder & Project Engagement: Support in-country manager meetings, resolve employee queries, and contribute to project teams focused on continuous improvement and process efficiency.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) is highly desirable.

  • Proven HR Experience - Substantial, progressively responsible experience in various HR areas within complex, comparable-sized organizations.

  • HR System Proficiency - experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS); Workday experience is highly desirable.

  • Solid knowledge of local labour laws and the ability to quickly learn international regulations.

  • Global Mindset - Experience working in a global environment with the ability to "Act locally, think globally."

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (business-level English) and proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Strong data management skills with a recognition of the importance of data integrity.

  • Strong work ethic, high level of discretion, and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.

  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to drive processes and deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced, high-change environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
