Housekeeping Driver (Seasonal) BR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive staff members, including the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisors, to various locations and properties using company vehicles.
  • Pick up and deliver food items and other supplies to various properties.
  • Accurately follow all delivery and pick-up instructions for property or storeroom items.
  • Assist supervisors in ensuring that housekeepers and guests have everything they need for an excellent hospitality service.
  • Submit and check necessary paperwork to confirm that all items picked up and delivered match the orders.
  • Help organise and manage stock in storerooms and notify when supplies are low.
  • Assist with heavy lifting, or other project work as required by the housekeeping team.
  • Escort and supervise suppliers and contractors on-site as needed.
  • Perform shopping duties as requested, including grocery shopping and pet supplies, while ensuring the secure use of petty cash.
  • Maintain company vehicles by performing basic maintenance checks and keeping them clean and operational.
  • Ensure storerooms and related areas are kept tidy and organised.
  • Undertake manual handling activities, including loading and unloading items.
  • Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Valid UK driver's license (Essential)
  • Experience in a similar role (Essential)
  • Strong driving knowledge of the London, Surrey, or Newmarket area (Essential)
  • Ability to undertake manual handling requirements (Essential)
