About the Role: We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Driver to provide short-term holiday cover on a busy new build housing development in Newcastle. This is an ideal opportunity for a reliable operator looking to pick up immediate contract hours. Working closely with the Site Manager and trade teams, you will be key to keeping site logistics moving safely and smoothly while the permanent driver is away. Key Responsibilities: Safely operating a telescopic handler across an active residential housing site. Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials (bricks, blocks, timber, roof trusses) to designated plots. Assisting sub-contractors and site trades with scheduled material lifts. Carrying out daily plant pre-checks, logging maintenance checks, and keeping the machine clean and secure.
