A Slitter Operator is required to join a multi-national steel firm located in Oldbury on a temp to perm basis. You will be responsible for setting and running the coil slitting lines, processing steel coils, loading and unloading the machinery and more. Your regular duties would include; Setting and operating the slitting lines Loading and unloading steel coils Marking material with works information Banding up processed coils when required Operating overhead cranes to handle steel To be considered for this role you will need to have prior experience running slitting lines within a steel processing company. The position is working days and nights rotating weekly (4 days / 4 nights); 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday (Days - 40 hours) 4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday to Thursday (Nights - 40 hours) Paying - 15.86 (days) / 18.03 per hour (nights) Temp-to-perm.
