As a specialist teaching assistant you will be working with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis during the school day. Pupils will range in age from 5 - 11 years old and will have identified behaviour, SEMH, SEN including ASD needs that require support on a full-time basis. SEN Teaching Assistant required to support two students on a 1-1 basis with ASD and SEMH. For the role as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be required to work with one student in the morning and other student during the afternoon, both within the classroom and during learning activites outside the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engagement, emotional regulation and positive behaviour, enabling both students to access their learning with progression.
