We are working with a Complex Needs SEND school based in Peckham who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher for term 5 and 6. The school caters for approximately 90 students aged from 5-19 years old. Students have high complex needs and are typically supported by a 1:1 support member of staff. Where this school students who are over the age of 18- teacher need to have a child and adult DBS. The curriculum is free flowing and includes and a lot of sensory and visual learning aspects, allowing teachers to be creative. Class sizes are small and have around 4-6 students with a minimum of 4 teaching assistants. The school are looking to appoint a teacher for term 5/6 and then transfer the teacher onto a permanent role.
