Senior SEND Casework Officer - West Yorkshire Day Rate: TBC (please state your desired rate upon application) Working Arrangements: Hybrid (Remote working is being considered) Contract: 3-6 months (likely to be extended) Start: ASAP We currently have a vacancy for a Senior SEND Casework Officer in the West Yorkshire area. Responsible for oversight and completion of SEND casework for a reduced number of highly complex Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. The role will include dispute resolution, formal mediation work and to respond to and represent the Local Authority in appeals to the SEN and Disability Tribunal. Key Requirements: Experience managing SEN Officers Local authority SEND experience Proven experience with Tribunals. Social Worker required for work within BANES Learning Disability & Autism Team. 37 hours a week with rates up to 32p/h for experienced candidates. Contract will be minimum 3 months. Flexible, hybrid working. The Learning Disability, Autism and Hearing & Vision Service are seeking a skilled and experience social worker for a fixed term contract. The scope of the role would be to carry out annual reviews in a cluster-style, e.g. visiting one residential/supported living setting and reviewing all individuals. There will be no requirement to case manage or partake in a duty rota. The role involves a mix of casework and reviews, including safeguarding processes, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve positive outcomes.
