Purpose and scope of the role The Acoustic Logging Technician will deploy, collect and process acoustic logging equipment across the Wessex Water distribution network to generate actionable leak points for field crews. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) supports leakage detection on contracts covering the Yeovil area and surrounding zones; deployments are typically left in situ overnight and retrieved the following morning. You will analyse district metered areas (DMAs) and control zones, identify suitable assets for logger placement, interpret plans and schematics, complete survey and time records, and liaise with leakage technicians and the contract management team.
