Overview Primary role: operate forklifts to move, load and unload goods across warehouse and quayside areas. Ensure safe, efficient material handling to support shipping, receiving and site operations. Key responsibilities Operate counterbalance forklifts (Class B3) for loading/unloading, stacking and moving stock. Move goods between storage, quayside and delivery/vessel locations promptly and safely. Load and secure cargo onto vehicles and vessels; assist drivers and vessel crew as required. Prepare consignments: pick, pack, label and stage goods for transport. Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance on forklifts; report faults immediately. Maintain accurate stock movements in ERP/IMS and support physical stock counts. Follow site safety procedures, use PPE, and take part in toolbox talks and handovers.
