LEAD CLOUD ENGINEER Role Overview Hackney Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to take overall responsibility for the design, delivery and optimisation of self-service cloud infrastructure and tooling. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cloud applications and services remain secure, high performing, sustainable, and deliver an excellent user experience for engineers, suppliers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, delivery and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and tooling. Develop and maintain Hackney s multi-cloud platform across AWS and Google Cloud. Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Work alongside senior enterprise architecture teams to evolve cloud engineering target architecture.
