Role Purpose To provide leadership, direction and management of Democratic Services, delivering high quality committee, member and scrutiny services that support the Council's recovery, improvement plans and wider strategic and corporate objectives. The role ensures effective democratic decision-making, strong governance, statutory compliance and high standards of constitutional advice, and acts as the Council's statutory Scrutiny Officer. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Democratic Services, scrutiny and Member support services.
