CNC Wood Shop Machinist Hours: This is a late shift position, either from 12pm-8pm or 1pm-9pm (TBC) The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming our wood machinery, including CNC and 5-axis Router to produce parts for assembly into finished units for retailers and brands. The role will require translating programmes into high-quality output, with accuracy and in line with production targets. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate wood machinery, such as CNC, Router, Beam Saw and Edge bander. Various brands including Homag and Biesse. Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing data to produce parts. Set up tooling, calibrate machinery, and monitor production runs to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Work closely with the design and engineering teams to optimise CNC programs and production flow.
