SEND Teaching Assistant (Part Time, Temporary) Northumberland, Southeast of Hexham area £324.90 - £360 per week January 2026 July 2026 The School and Role We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a small primary school in the Rural Northumberland area. This would be based in the Southeast Hexham area. Within this role you would be working as part of an established team in Key Stage 2. The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting a pupil in a mixed Year 3/4 class. This would be a one to one role. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am 13:15pm. Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching and children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.
