Housing Benefit Subsidy Officer / Team Leader Experienced in Housing Benefit subsidy and benefits administration, with strong working knowledge of Housing Benefit regulations, subsidy requirements and local authority processes. Proficient in Academy and/or NEC Revenues and Benefits systems, with the ability to interrogate claims, identify subsidy issues and ensure cases are correctly classified and recorded. Skilled in reviewing subsidy-related cases, subsidy cells and exception reports, identifying errors and discrepancies that could affect the authority's subsidy claim. Experienced in checking areas including overpayments, backdated awards, supported/exempt accommodation, temporary accommodation and other high-risk subsidy classifications.
