My client based in the rural village of Necton, Swaffham, requires a school caretaker to support the team on a daily basis. The days consist of split shifts that are 07:30am to 9:00am & 2:30pm to 18:00pm. The role is Monday to Friday and running through till Mid July Job Purpose: To ensure the school's buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, clean, well-maintained, and ready for daily use by staff, students, and visitors. The caretaker plays a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school environment. Key Responsibilities / Duties: 1. Maintenance & Repairs Carry out routine maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, minor repairs, plumbing, and electrical work). Respond promptly to repair requests from staff. Monitor the condition of buildings, equipment, and grounds, reporting major issues to the facilities manager. 2. Security Open and close the school premises as required.
