The Role As a Hairpin Manufacturing Operative, you will manufacture and inspect precision copper hairpin components to customer specifications and aerospace quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manufacture copper hairpin components using workshop tools and machinery to achieve specified tolerances. Use pillar drills and associated equipment to remove copper enamel in accordance with customer drawings and specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions. Carry out quality inspections using verniers, Go/No-Go gauges and other measuring equipment. Bag, label and prepare completed components for dispatch. Complete all manufacturing activities in accordance with customer requirements and quality standards. Highlight any production, process or quality issues to the Line Manager and/or Quality Manager. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and complete daily 5S activities.
