JOB DESCRIPTION Are you passionate about working with children or young people with special educational needs? If so, get in touch today, we would love to hear from you! We are currently looking for a a trainee teaching assistant to work at an SEN school. The role will involve working with a range of children with additional needs. You will be required to assist individual children in accessing the work set by the class teacher. These children will often struggle with emotional regulation and need the support of an adult who is calm and reassuring and can help the child feel calm and safe. About the role This is a unique opportunity for anyone who is looking to get into working in schools, particularly within SEND. You will undergo additional training courses within SEND, such as Behaviour Management and Special Needs Awareness to help give you the background knowledge and head start that is needed.
