About the opportunity:   We are working with a well-established manufacturer in Bradford who are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee their transport and warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient running of the business.   You will manage around a team of HGV drivers, alongside agency drivers and subcontractors, while working closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered on time.   In particular, you will:                     Manage the transport office, drivers, agency workers and subcontractors Oversee driver recruitment, training, performance and availability Ensure compliance with the Operator’s Licence, drivers’ hours, CPC, licences and medicals Maintain oversight of delivery plans, monitoring delivery progress and ensuring schedules remain on track.
