£42,694 per annum Overall purpose: To work within the group of Andrew Carter at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB), within a programme aimed at identifying the links between microtubule motors and their cargos. The project will be in collaboration with the lab of Emmanuel Derivery and benefit from combining their expertise in multispectral imaging, together with the Carter lab's expertise in working with iNeurons and motor transport. The goal is to identify the connections that link motors to specific cargos such as membrane organelles, viruses or RNAs.
