Job Purpose As a 3-Axis CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator within the Fabrication Team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of precision infrared and visible optical components to exacting customer specifications. You will program, set and operate CNC milling machinery to mill, shape and bevel optical components, working to micron level tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and workmanship. The role will involve machining delicate optical materials, verifying component dimensions using CMM and other inspection equipment, and carrying out cleaning and surface inspection to applicable standards.
