Maintenance Assistant (Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Carry out general maintenance and minor repair works across the property. Move, lift and re-position furniture, equipment, and heavy items as required. Assemble furniture, shelving, and other equipment. Assist with small building or improvement projects when required. Measure spaces, furniture, or materials to support installations or design layouts. Check for and report maintenance issues, such as leaks, damages, or faults. Assist with managing storage units and warehouse areas including moving items and logging equipment and belongings in and out. Carry out basic carpentry tasks. Source and obtain materials from local suppliers. Oversee the work of contractors when required. Provide support to colleagues, including covering for absences and offering on-call assistance.
