(REF: 295) Female Support Worker - Penarth (Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9) Contact: Permanent Location: Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan Hours: 12 hours per week with possible increase to 18 hours per week Working pattern: Weekdays: 1pm to 7:30pm and 4pm to 9:30pm (2 shifts per week). Possible increase of daytime shift to include one sleep in shift (on the same day). Pay: £14.42 per hour (daytime shift) £21.63 per hour (bank holidays) £12.71 per hour (sleep in shift) Closing date: Monday 10th August 2026 (Please note, we reserve the right to close the advert earlier if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants) I am a 30-year-old female living at home in Penarth with my parents and brother. Hoop Nursing & Social Care are recruiting experienced female Healthcare Support Workers (due to service user needs) on an agency basis, supporting services in Bridgend and surrounding areas. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you'll assist those with complex care needs, learning disabilities and some challenging behaviour (dependant on service), within supported living environments. Your role includes supporting the staff team with the daily running of the service, maintaining a positive attitude, and providing leading support.
