Purpose of post As an experienced Nursery Chef/Cook you must be organised, efficient and be able to manage the diverse catering requirements effectively; ensure conformance to all food handling, environmental and health regulations. You will work in consultation with the Nursery Manager, be responsible for the planning and provision of healthy and tasty meals for children under 5 years old, making sure each meal is age appropriate while working with fresh ingredients, taking account of any special dietary requirements. You must also be able to meet all the different dietary requirements, and be aware of the various cultural events during the year which may require additional planning and preparation of special meals.
