Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a Senior Authorised Person to join the EPC Contractor on the new build Energy from Waste Turbine project based in Scotland. The day rate for the SAP position is from 500.00 to 600.00 per day outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role: Act as the SAP for 11kV systems under company and DNO/IDNO authorisation. Carry out switching operations, issue safety documents (PTW, SFT, LOA), and ensure all HV works are executed safely. Supervise and coordinate HV commissioning activities, including protection testing, cable terminations, and system energisation. Liaise with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to ensure HV milestones are achieved.
