An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Contracts Manager to come and join a busy client in the Lancashire area. The purpose of this job is to ensure that Travelcare operations are provided efficiently and safely and in line with the standards determined by the Head of Travelcare. The main duties of the Transport Contracts Manager are: Oversee the day-to-day supervision of senior drivers, drivers, driver attendants and passenger assistants. Manage recruitment, induction, staff allocation and absence cover. Conduct performance and development appraisals and coordinate staff training. Monitor attendance, absence and performance, including handling low-level disciplinary matters. Check and maintain staff time and pay records. Allocate passengers to appropriate transport runs.
