Shift Engineer

TXM Recruit are currently seeking skilled Shift Engineers with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join an established team at a site based in Oldham. In this role, you will be responsible for the rapid response to mechanical and electrical faults, as well as maintaining and optimising high-speed print production equipment. Salary: £45,000 £48,000 + £2,000 night shift allowance Working Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (2 days, 2 nights) Key Responsibilities Provide a rapid response to mechanical and electrical failures. Carry out structured maintenance schedules to ensure long-term machine reliability. Identify technical bottlenecks and develop SOPs to improve equipment performance. Accurately record all tasks and asset history using the CMMS system. Benefits 7 weeks holiday, plus additional days after 3, 5, and 10 years service, with the option to purchase extra leave.
