I'm working with a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong regional presence and a growing pipeline of infrastructure and earthworks projects. They're looking to appoint an Estimator to support their expanding pre-construction function. This role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates across a range of civils schemes, reviewing drawings and specifications, and building robust first-principles pricing models. You'll manage tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure commercially competitive bids. You'll need previous estimating experience within civil engineering, groundworks, infrastructure or heavy construction, alongside strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
