Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Recycling Operative (automotive/voltage) to join our clients team based in the Llanelli area. Salary: 24,454 p.a (Monthly pay) Hours of work: 37 hours pw working Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 and Fridays 09:00 - 15:00 Contract: Permanent Main Responsibilities: Process automotive high voltage lithium-ion batteries and battery scrap materials through the safe operation of our battery recycling equipment & machinery Perform battery inspections, discharging, testing, crushing and output of battery materials Liaise with engineers and team members to develop and improve our in-house processes Workshop management (e.g. PPE is checked and used correctly, machinery is not misused) Assist with the monitoring of waste quantities and outputted products (e.g. black mass) Ensure that all processes are followed correctly to tight deadlines Skills required: Experience of working in a warehouse/yard environment Safety-first...
