Transport Operator/Administrator - AM Days - Portbury 37.5-hour week - Monday - Friday (Apply online only) Place of Work: Portbury, BS20 Tasks & Responsibilities: o Booking in and dispatching a team of 40+ own drivers, 6 shunters and 6 Warehouse Operatives o Booking sub-contract vehicles and drivers into site working in a small but busy transport gatehouse o Ensuring the timely loading of vehicles on site o Dispatching Drivers o Communicating issues to the customer o Support the Shift Management team with customer ETA's, haulier, and supplier communication o Process Debrief Paperwork and file accurately and securely o Providing Proof of Delivery to the customer o Liaising with external hauliers o Assist with operational planning o Assist with maintenance planning o KPI reporting o Planning (Core & Sub Contract) o Scheduling and allocating of deliveries to > 40 articulated vehicles. o Building relationships with Third Party hauliers and internal XPO sites o...
