LEGAL BILLING COORDINATOR, MANCHESTER - Join an established multi-office law firm and take the lead on legal aid billing, compliance and cash collection. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Aid Billing Specialist to join a busy finance team in Manchester. Working closely with the Billing Manager and Head of Finance, you will bring your technical legal aid expertise to the role, with a particular focus on improving billing turnaround, payments on account and LAA compliance. The Role Oversee civil final bills and payments on account from submission through to payment. Monitor legal aid billing, assessments, disbursements and LAA submissions. Act as a key point of contact for legal aid billing and compliance queries. Support LAA audits and deal with statutory charges, recoupments, file transfers and out-of-time bills.
