Fire Alarm Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our growing team, covering Essex and London. This role involves the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and small works on a wide range of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
Complete small installation and commissioning works as required
Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and regulations (e.g. BS 5839)
Accurately complete job reports and documentation
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Participate in on-call rota (if applicable)
Requirements:
Proven experience working with fire alarm systems
Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
Ability to fault-find and problem-solve independently
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication and organisational skills
FIA qualifications or equivalent (desirable)
Experience with systems such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, or similar (advantageous)
