We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant to act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders—driving value, shaping strategy, and ensuring technology delivers measurable impact across complex projects and programmes.

In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as the primary bridge between the business and service teams, ensuring objectives are understood, priorities are aligned, and outcomes are delivered efficiently and cost‑effectively. You’ll proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, opportunities, and risks, using insight and influence to guide decisions and optimise end‑to‑end processes.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping the business unit strategy across Data, Information, Technology, IT services, and other critical disciplines—ensuring roadmaps and solutions are aligned to long‑term organisational goals.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, driving value by leveraging technology, optimising processes, and ensuring cost effective, high quality service delivery across complex projects and programmes.
  • Lead regular business reviews, value discussions, and roadmap sessions
  • Lead end to end requirements gathering, discovery, and analytical activities for complex initiatives and prepare BU specific strategy plans aligning to organisational drivers
  • Participate to budgeting, demand planning and reporting cycles
  • Take ownership of the demand planning lifecycle, translating business needs into prioritised, well defined IT/OT initiatives that support strategic goals
  • Lead the design of a single Digital Strategy that aligns with BU specific objectives, digital value frameworks, tech outcomes and organisational KPIs
  • Mapping digital value streams showcasing alignment to business processes including creation of digital initiative inventory
  • Lead a strategic alignment scorecard for each digital initiative (value, cost, risk, effort, priority)

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Business Relationship Manager, Senior Business Analyst or Senior Product Owner
  • Strong background in change management, digital strategy development, portfolio strategy
  • Previous experience working within enterprise architecture and IT/OT integration projects
  • Previous experience working within Energy, Asset Management or Industrial Digital would be beneficial
  • Evidenced experience in value stream mapping, hosting discovery workshops, stakeholder management and roadmap development
  • Ability to translate business challenges into structured technology recommendations
  • Customer centric mindset with a drive for improving service and operations.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, roadmapping, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance tactical and strategic needs.
