SEN Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets
Ideal for Graduates with Relevant Experience 90 - 105 per day Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you a graduate with experience supporting children or young people and looking to build a career in education or psychology?

We are recruiting a confident and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for graduates who already have some hands-on experience and are now looking to deepen their impact within a structured school setting.

You will be supporting pupils with additional needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs, helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and build confidence.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Helping students stay engaged and access classroom learning
Delivering tailored interventions and support strategies
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
Assisting with communication and social development
Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff
Creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment



Pay & Hours

90 - 105 per day (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, term-time only
Typical hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm



What We're Looking For

Graduates with experience working with children or young people
Experience in schools, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, care, coaching or similar
A genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education
Calm, patient, and proactive individuals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to pupil needs
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
