Primary Teaching Assistant SEN Support Full-Time Role

We are working with a leading specialist provider of primary education to find a motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a primary school located in South East England. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners, particularly within the special educational needs (SEN) sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom support to pupils, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support that meets individual pupil needs.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of learning activities and classroom routines.
• Support students with SEN to promote their social and academic development.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom environment.
• Support the inclusion of all pupils, fostering independence and confidence.
• Assist with personal care responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary or SEN setting.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills.
• Be competent with personal care.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
• Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 3:30 pm.
