What You'll Do:
As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are spotless and safe for all Service Users. Your responsibilities will include:
- Complete Cleaning Tasks: Carry out all cleans to a compliant standard within designated timescales.
- Safety First: Ensure the safety of all Service Users while performing your cleaning duties.
- Reporting and Communication: Update your Line Manager on completed cleans and maintain records on the AORA system.
- Material Management: Purchase materials from approved suppliers, keep receipts, and manage stock inventories.
- Waste Disposal: Safely remove and dispose of waste in approved licensed areas, recycling when possible.
- Adhere to Guidelines: Use all cleaning equipment and materials according to provided guidelines and wear PPE as required.
Working Hours:
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Mobile Cleaning Role - have to drive to areas in Coventry for cleaning
What You Bring:
We're looking for candidates who are not only skilled but also have a positive attitude! Here's what you need to succeed in this role:
- Essential Skills:
- - A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel within the region (and occasionally within the UK).
- - DBS Clearance.
- - Competency in using IT systems.
- - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Desirable Experience:
- - Previous cleaning experience in households or large accommodations.
- - Experience working both as part of a team and independently.
- - Proven ability to manage time effectively.
- - Willingness to work overtime based on business needs.
