Role Overview

Skybod Healthcare Ltd is seeking experienced female live-in carers to provide one-to-one, personalised care for clients who require support in their own homes.

This role is suitable where a female carer is required due to personal, cultural, or care needs. You will live with the client and provide consistent, compassionate support while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and hygiene
• Support with medication reminders and daily health monitoring
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Assist with mobility and safe movement
• Help with light household tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments when required
• Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing

Self-Employment Important Information

This position is strictly for self-employed candidates:

• You must have a UTR number or be willing to register as self-employed
• If you do not have a UTR, we can provide a step-by-step guide to help you register
• Candidates on a sponsor visa cannot work as self-employed

• Please ensure your immigration status allows self-employment before applying

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in live-in or domiciliary care
• Female applicant (due to client-specific requirements)
• Self-employed or willing to register
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional references
• Kind, reliable, and professional approach

Care qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, First Aid) are an advantage but not essential.
