Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the assembly of machinery including mechanical fitting, cabling, servers, cooling systems, and power supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products from engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Repair and rework mechanical assemblies
  • Interpret electrical schematics and perform fault finding
  • Ensure build quality through documentation and peer checks
  • Meet production throughput targets
  • Support prototype builds and project work with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to safe working practices and company values

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products
  • Strong mechanical and workshop skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures
  • Basic testing and problem-solving capabilities
  • Understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and safety standards
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
  • GCSEs in Maths and English

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00-15:30.
